In the past year, I have develop a love of some new fictional characters which lets face is where I spend most of my life. Of course, once I read Twilight I was totally hooked. How can someone not love Edward? Not that I am a Jacob hater, but I just think that Edward and Bella were perfect for each other. I was glad to see Jacob get his happy ending in Breaking Dawn which I won't go into detail so as not to completely spoil it for those who haven't read it.

I have some other new loves, like Andrew Ryan from Kathy Reichs' books. I know the show Bones is technically based off it but really they are nothing alike. Dr. Temperance Brennan in the books can hardly even been consider the same character as the show. Despite my love of the show, I have develop a love of the book, and I am totally a Tempe/Ryan shipper now.

Another love I have is of Christine Feehan's Carpathian novels. I love the dark, powerful, and possesive men in them. The woman are also quite strong characters. I have to say my favorite couple is Gregori and Savannah, but Byron and Antoinetta are a close second.

Last and newest is Laurell K. Hamilton's Merry Gentry books. I accidentally started at the end with Swallowing Darkness because I picked up the audio book at the library for a trip, not relizing it was part of a series. I really liked the characters and the story she had developed, so I am going back and reading from the beginning. Although I have to say, apparently the fey are very sexual creatures.

In tribute to my new addictions, I have started collecting fanart from them. Unforunately, I have not artistic talent to make my own. If you know of any good ones for these let me know.
